Oops! You’ve waited a little too long to start putting together your first dance and suddenly have less than 6 weeks until your wedding.

You have a long wedding timeline BUT a very small amount of availability together for lessons.

You don’t want to do 5 or more lessons and you’d prefer 2-4 crash-course style, hour-long sessions to learn your dance.

Our Intensive & Emergency Wedding Dance Lessons are hour-long, crash-courses to get you ready for your big day in a very small amount of time.

Here’s How it Works

You can choose between 1-4 lessons but we do request that you pre-select how many lessons you would like so our instructors can plan your curriculum accordingly. It is helpful for us to know the minimum amount of lessons you are going to take and any additional goals you have so we can be sure to accomplish it all in a small amount of time.
All single Emergency/Intensive Lessons start at $200 per session. Two or more Emergency/Intensive Lessons start at $185 per session. If you have time for 5 or more lessons, we recommend you consider our regular wedding packages which start at 5 Private Lessons.
The main difference between Emergency/Intensive Lessons and Regular Lessons is the speed at which we teach, the amount of information we cover, how much attention to detail and technique we can give, and whether you want a more advanced patterning or choreography. Full choreography or any complex dances generally require one of our Regular Wedding Packages of 8 or more sessions.
While our regular wedding lessons are 45 minutes and are planned around our most comfortable, tried and true learning curves and timelines, the Emergency/Intensive Lessons are 1 hour and run more like a boot camp/crash course. If you are super limited on time and can’t make it to 5 or more lessons, our Emergency/Intensive Lessons are the right choice for you.
Like all of our private services, we personalize these lessons to your learning curves, abilities, and goals. Our instructors will try and fit in as much as they can, working at a faster pace, as long as you still look comfortable and like you are absorbing the material.
Our number one priority is for you to look GOOD on your wedding floor and have the dance you dreamed of. We adjust our curriculum as needed – we don’t want to send couples on their special days looking like a hot mess!

Katie is an awesome dance teacher and we highly recommend signing up for lessons if you'd like to learn how to turn easy-to-learn movements into a beautifully choreographed dance for your wedding or special occasions!! Katie is GREAT at breaking down moves so they feel "right" to you. Simple changes like hand height or body angles can do wonders for making the moves feel more smooth. Also, during lessons, Katie is great at ensuring she captures videos on your devices so you can go back home and have a reference video when practicing in between lessons. Katie was very kind and patient, she really took time with my partner who had essentially no dance experience to make sure he understood the steps in a way that made sense to him. She was able to cater the dance moves to our desires, some spins for the leading partner and easy, but beautiful for photographing, lifts. We also have to give a shout out to Merabel who was so communicative and helpful with scheduling our classes each month. My work shifts were sporadic at the time and she was able to help accommodate changes in our schedule.
